Carnival in Sitges: a special event

But even the greatest feast will come to an end. In this case it will end on Wednesday with an old tradition. There will be a traditional fight between the queen and the king of Carnival and the ghost of the Shrovetide. Of course the ghost will win this fight. Afterwards the king and his queen will be buried symbolically. With this action the Carnival of Sitges will be over.
