Carnival in Roses

Roses is always a nice city to spend holidays at the beautiful Costa Brava. Next to comfortable Roses apartments, the city has a lot to offer for perfect beach holidays. The parade of the artists takes place from the 31st January to the 4th February in many streets of the city. Every year the gorgeous carnival is celebrated and this goes for more than 5000 years. This event attracts more and more visitors every year. Thus, come to the Costa Brava and enjoy this beautiful time of the year!

The world of Christmas in Salou

But also during winter and especially Christmas is the city and its surroundings worth seeing. As it becomes more and more a popular destination for the colder times during the year, also many Salou hotels are available. Also finding comfortable and charming Salou apartments is not that difficult.

During these times, the city will not be crowded as in summer times but it is still charming and lively. You can find nice restaurants and bars to enjoy the evenings. Salou is the ideal place for relax holidays and as it is often sunny during winter, walks on the beaches, which are uncrowded, are ideal.

If you wish to enjoy some action, you can visit the amusement park Port Aventura, which also have a Christmas special. Next to that you can take the train to Barcelona (approximately 80 minutes) to visit the metropolis and its wonderful Christmas market, with all the typical Catalan Christmas issues. Salou as well as Barcelona are lovely decorated with Christmas light and trees. So, come and enjoy the winter and Christmas time in Spain!

Christmas in Port Aventura

224PE_8656.jpg Spending a day full with adventures in Port Aventura is enjoyable during the whole year. The Port Aventura is the biggest amusement park in Spain and the second largest in Europe. There are different events during the year and, next to Halloween, Christmas is one of the largest. Also Port Aventura hotels are available during this time and they are perfect for staying some days in Port Aventura. Christmas is celebrated in the park from 22.11.08 to 06.01.09. Thus, there is enough time to go to Salou, which is located at the beautiful Costa Dorada, and to spend a few days in this nice and charming city.
The Port Aventura offers a lot for Christmas time and the feeling is really authentic. The rooftops are covered with snow and the typical Christmas light are in the streets. Santa Claus, the Three Kings and many other famous characters regarding Christmas can be seen. Next to that there are different Christmas shows that are really enjoyable. After a long day enjoying the different attractions, like roller coasters and carrousels, you can try the tasty meals in numerous restaurants. Thus, come to Port Aventura during your Christmas vacations and experience the wonderful Christmas feeling which covers the whole park!

Sitges - the paradise for gays

Next to the picturesque alleys, nice beaches und a lots of shopping possibilities, the city is really gay friendly. And that is unique in Spain. There you can find gay communities, bars, restaurants, discos, beaches, shopping possibilities and hotels, which are especially for gay people. Almost everything can be reached in only five minutes walking - perfect holidays! Everybody will be welcomed in the city and there are no differences between straight and gay people. So, everybody can live and stay here without feeling any discrimination. If you have not been in Sitges before, you definitely have to visit it. The special culture is really worth seeing. Here you can just relax, go out during the night or just enjoy the wonderful beaches.
The city is just 35 kilometer away from Barcelona. Thus, you have the perfect possibility to visit the Spanish metropolis and perhaps to stay some days in a nice Barcelona apartment. Also Barcelona is a very gay friendly city and many homosexual people come to this city.
