Port Aventura - Holidays next to Salou
If you spend your holidays on Costa Dorada in a Salou hotel, you are very close to Port Aventura. So it is a great opportunity to spend one day in this theme park that offers fun for the whole family. It is divided into five theme worlds:
Mediterrania:
It is the entrance area with two rides, a lot of restaurants and shops that are built in a typical coast town style.
Far West:
This part consists of 9 attractions and is an old wild west town with many western buildings and sculputes.
Mexico:
It is a bit similar to the Far West area and offers 3 attractions. The main attraction is Hurakan Condor, a free fall tower.
China:
In this area is the biggest ride of the park located, the Dragon Khan, which has 8 inversions. It is one of the biggest and most thrilling rollercoasters in Europe.
Polynesia:
This area is not that spectacular like the other areas. The rides are not that thrilling and there are a lot of activities for children.
