Fallas in Valencia ? International Tourist Attraction

Las Fallas de San José is the biggest bonfire festival in Spain. It takes place in the first weeks of march from 12th to 19th.
If you want to experience the city?s special atmosphere throughout this period of the year just book your Valencia accommodation and be part of Spain?s most important fiesta!
The word ?falla? stands for the satirical caricature each barrio builds during the year. These grotesque caricatures are made of papier-mâché and wood and are awarded in the days before 19th march before they are finally burned. The total price is estimated 1,200,000 ?, most of it goes up in smoke at the final night Nit de Foc.It is recommended to book a Valencia Hotel or Valencia Apartment to enjoy not only one day of the incredible fiesta but also the many procession and contests that take place besides. The procession of falleros is one example. Falleros carry flowers to the Plaza de la Virgen where the flowers are massed to create the skirt of a huge statue of La Virgen. There are nightly fireworks, bullfights and Paella contests. The week of fiesta accumulates the 19th march when all the caricatures are burned during the night ?Nit de Foc?.
Maybe you can also connect your holiday in a Costa del Azahar hotel with the visit of the Fallas in Valencia? It is really a fiesta in Spain not to be missed! So don?t hesitate and book your Valencia hotel now!

Castellón de la Plana ? small town north of Valencia

Castellón de la Plana is the main town in the north of the Valencia region.
There are not many impressive sights to visit in Castellón but during your stay in a Costa de Azahar Hotel you should enjoy a sunbath at one of the beautiful beaches in and around Castellón.
Castellón doesn?t offer a lot of sights but there are some things you should not miss during you stay:
-The ?ayuntamiento? offers a collection of works and paintings of local artists.
-?El Fadrí? is the town?s bell tower that dates back to the 16th century.
-The ?Concatedral de Santa María? dates back to the 14th century and was destroyed in 1936.
-Museo de Bellas Artes
The best beaches can be found 5 km east of the center and along the coastal road to the north to Benicassín. There are different bus transfers from the center of Castellón to facilitate the arrival.
For friends of nightlife I would recommend to start the evening in one of the tapas bars around Plaza Santa Cruz and then to go on to the different bars and Clubs in the city or along the beach. The most important festival is ?Fiestas de la Magdalena?. The third Sunday of "Cuaresma? people celebrate and commemorate the origins of the town. To take part in this traditional festival, just book a Castellón hotel and enjoy the special atmosphere of the City.
Enjoy your Costa de Azahar holiday and make day trip to Castellón!
