the city of Blanes

Just over an hour from Barcelona, Blanes is the town of the Costa Brava. With its beach split in two by the small Sa Palomera headland, the town is divided into the high-rise touristy S'Abaneel to the southeast, which boasts a long, sandy beach, and the more pleasing old town on the northwest side with its small beach and fishing port. Above the harbor stands the top of the cliff Mar i Murtra botanical gardens, well worth the visit for the coastal views and for the amazing variety of plants and trees from all over the world. Blanes' finest beach is Cala Sant Francesc, 15 minutes' walk from botanical gardens.
Get to know the Costa Brava for a few days, and enjoy the beaches, the views and the sightseeing. You will have a wide choice among the apartments and hotels in Blanes, but also in the entire coast.

The new trendy destination: Marbella

Sheltered by the hills of the Sierra Blanca, Marbella, 25Km further west, stands in considerable contrast to most of what's come before. Since it attracted the attentions of the smart set in 1960s the town has zealously polished its reputation as the Costa del Sol's most stylish resort. Glitz comes at a price, of course, and many of the chic restaurants, bars and cafés cash in on hte hype and evrything costs considerably more. Marbella has the highest per capita income in Europe and more Rolls Royces than any European city apart from London. Recently the Spanish governement and local police have been exercised by the arrival in Marbella of russian and Italian Mafia bosses who have been bying up property and using Marbella as a base of criminal empires, while in an ironic twist of history, there's been a massive return of Arabs to the area, especially since King Fahd of saudi Arabia built a White House lookalike, complete with adjacent mosque, on the town's outskirt's, where he and a veritable army of courtiers and servants spend the summer months.
But to be fair, the town has been spared the worst exesses of concrete architecture and also retains the greater part of its old town.
And obviously, in this area the accommodation in Costa del Sol are not cheap. Have a look at www.perfectsuntravel.com, an on-line booking website which offers more 270 hotels in Costa del Sol from different categories: luxiorious hotels in Marbella to economical apartments in Marbella.
You can be trendy without a lot of means and enjoy your holidays in la Costa del Sol thanks to www.perfectsuntravel.com !

delta de l'Ebre:

In the bottom corner of Catalunya is the Delta de l'Ebre, 320 square kilometres of sandy delta constituting the biggest wetland in Catalunya and one of the most important aquatic habitats in the western Mediterranean. Designated a natural park, its brackish lagoons, marshes, dunes and reed beds are home to thousands of wintering birds and provide excellent fishing; around fifteen percent of the total Catalan catch comes from this area. The scenery is unique in Catalunya, with low roads running through field after field of rice paddies, punctuated by solitary houses and small villages, before emerging into dune-lined beaches.
Since much of the area of the parc natural de Delta de l'Ebre is a protected zone, access is limited. It's also difficult to visit without your own transport, though the effort of doing so is rewarded by tranquillity and space. If you're relying on buses, aim for one of the three main towns- Amposta, Sant Carles de la Rapita or Deltebre-where you'll find accommodation and boat services into the Delta.Oder wise, you can check the website http://www.barcelonapoint.com which offers many and nices hotels in la costa Dorada, and apartments in Catalunya. You have the possibility to make the booking online.
It is very easy to find an accommodation in la Costa Dorada with http://www.barcelonapoint.com, then you just have to enjoy the landscape of the Delta de l'Ebre!

fiestas de Moros y Cristianos in Alicante.

One of the most important fiestas in the region and the most important of its kind is the three day Fiesta de Moros y Cristianos in Alcoy, about 60km from Alicante. It happens the three days around St Georges's day, but the date varies slightly according to when Easter falls. Magnificient processions and mock battles for the castle culminate in the decisive intervention of st George himself-a legend that originated in the Battle of alcoy when the town was attacked by a muslim army. New costumes are made each year and prizes are awarded for the best, which then go into the locxal museum.
On day one the christians make their entrance in the morning, the moors in the afternoon, day two is dedicated to st George, with several religious preocessions; day three sees a gundpowder battle, leading to the saint's appearance on the battlements.
access from Alicante is easy, you won't have difficulties to find an apartment in Alicante or any type of accommodation costa Blanca
