Monuments:
Tarragona is located in the north of Salou and has 100.000 inhabitants. The city was built at the time of the Romans and provides you with fantastic monuments of that time. A further impressive monument is the "Pont del Diable", the bridge of the devil! The famous bridge is a fragment of the ancient aqueduct. At the time of the Romans, this aqueduct transported the water from the river called "Francolí" to the city center. The "Arc of Berà" was built in honor of the emperor Augustus. The monument is located in the north of Salou and is considered as one of the most impressive monuments in Catalonia. It was originally decorated with Corinthian pilasters and molding and crowned by an architrave, frieze, cornice and attic.

El Bulli is one of the best restaurants on the world. It's absolutely difficult to get a table because the restaurant has opened for just 6 month a year. Executive chef of the restaurant in Catalonia is Ferran Adrià, one of the most influential cooks of the present.


The restaurant El Bulli is situated besides a lonely bay along the Costa Brava in the beautiful village Rosas. You should visit this great area but please note that the restaurant is fully booked quickly! There are numerous great Costa Brava hotels in Roses, near the restaurant El Bulli.

Transport:
By plane: You can reach the restaurant El Bulli from the airport Barcelona or from the airport Girona. From Barcelona the distance is around 177 km, from Girona airport you will need approximately 75 km.

Accommodation:
